Morning turkey hunts begin before sunrise with breakfast. Then it is off to the woods to listen for that large gobbler. Morning turkey hunts are certainly a fast paced and exciting experience, so after a morning of chasing a gobbler there is nothing better than a home-cooked meal.
Afternoon turkey hunts are a little slower-paced but just as exciting. In the afternoon we will set up a blind and decoys on a field edge and wait for a hungry tom with his mind on something besides eating. Turkey hunting is the ultimate chess game. Win or lose, you will always enjoy the strategy.
